Afif stakes claim as one of Asian Cup’s greatest as Qatar win back-to-back titles
As Qatar successfully defended their Asian Cup title on Saturday, hat-trick hero Akram Afif staked his claim to be one of the tournament’s greatest ever.
The Jamaica Football Federation said on Friday it had paid the members of their Women’s World Cup team after players refused to play a pair of Gold Cup qualifiers in protest of a delayed payment of their World Cup performances or bonuses for qualifying.
