The previously winless North Carolina Courage scored twice in the final minutes of the game to hand the first-place Kansas City Current their first loss of the NWSL season on Saturday.
The NWSL Players Association said that play should have been stopped in the game between Angel City FC and the Utah Royals on Friday following the nearly 10-minute delay to provide medical attention to Savy King.
